Aviation ISAC 10-Year Timeline

September 10, 2014 - Aviation ISAC Is Founded

An effort was established between Boeing, DHS, and FAA discussing ideas to improve cyber risk maturity among public and private sector organizations. This effort started out as an Information Sharing Working Group (ISWG) designed to disseminate and exchange cyber risk information. Guest speakers were hosted to share ideas, concepts, and challenges.

The format of this ISWG was hosted and operated on the Boeing infrastructure for about a 3-year period before the A-ISAC established its own back office infrastructure.
