Jeff Troy provided the results and analysis of the CISO Survey Results.
Overview:
Each year the Aviation ISAC surveys CISO’s and CPSO’s in our community to understand their strategies for cyber risk reduction heading into the new year. The survey poses just one question, “What are 3-5 things you committed to getting done in 2026 to reduce cyber risk within your organization?”
The responses are catalogued using the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF 2.0). We tabulated and analyzed the results from several perspectives. We looked at overall responses by function (Governance, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover), category, and sub-category.
